Microsoft Releases First Android App

March 5th, 2010 by Arjan Olsder Posted in Platforms: AndroidOS | No Comments »

Microsoft Following the successful launch of several Microsoft products on Apple’s iPhone, the company has now started to release software on Android. Their first application is Microsoft TAG.

Microsoft TAG is a reader for Microsoft TAG’s. These tags are a competitor to the much used QR format. Android was one of the only platforms that didn’t have a real Microsoft TAG reader and Microsoft needs broad coverage to make the format attractive.
