Following the successful launch of several Microsoft products on Apple’s iPhone, the company has now started to release software on Android. Their first application is Microsoft TAG.
Microsoft TAG is a reader for Microsoft TAG’s. These tags are a competitor to the much used QR format. Android was one of the only platforms that didn’t have a real Microsoft TAG reader and Microsoft needs broad coverage to make the format attractive.
Somehow it still feels like Sonic on a Nintendo console…
