Following the acquisition of Siemens’ hanset division by BenQ, Kyocera now announced to have purchased Sanyo’s.
This means all knowledge and designs of Sanyo mobile phones will be handed over to Kyocera. Kyocera will continue to use the Sanyo name on some handset for some time. The deal costed Kyocera $ 467 million.
