Exit Games and Vivendi Games Mobile have announced a partnership in which Vivendi Mobile’s games will be powered by Exit’s Neutron 4.0 technology for connected/multiplayer functionality.
In detail, the Neutron technology will add in-game voice chats, multiplayer challenge alerts and the possibility to see who of your friends is playing online at the moment. The first game to get Neutron powered is their classic Navy Battle where players can use the full Neutron functionality (given that the operator allows VOIP connections).
"Neutron technology will provide Vivendi Games Mobile with a way to capitalise on the next wave of 3G adoption, while giving carriers and operators a way to completely engage and entertain their customers," said Exit boss Tom Sperry.
Vivendi’s Paul Maglione added, "Innovative technologies such as Neutron’s advanced cross-platform multiplayer functionality will help usher in a new era for mobile games and provide our customers with a more sophisticated gaming experience."
Congratulations
