Telcogames Moves To Consoles As Well

May 18th, 2007 by Arjan Olsder Posted in Development Platforms | 2 Comments »

TelcogamesFollowing several other companies, Telcogames now also made a switch to start investing in console titles. Their first title should hit the shelves by Christmas.

While most developers bring their games to portals like Xbox Live, Telcogames will start off by launching Toy Golf 2 on PC and the to be discontinued Playstation 2.

"Telcogames has a good reputation in the distribution of mass market mobile titles and we see this deal as the beginnings of a strong partnership to take innovative mobile games to boxed non-mobile formats," offered Adam Pritchard, commercial director of Zoo Digital.

"Telcogames has a strong portfolio of titles providing something for everyone no matter what their gaming preferences," commented Darren Newnham, head of licensing at Telcogames. "The convergent trend the industry predicted is here. Telcogames aims to secure more licensing deals to bring further content to non-mobile formats in the future."
