Skype has finally released an update of their VOIP software that allows for Skype to accept calls and chats while running as a background process on iOS.
VOIP is one of the seven types of services that Apple allows to run in the background. Skype also announced that it will not charge for any VOIP traffic that runs over a 3G connection.
