Just before the weekend, Apple launched the iPad in China and South America. In Beijing, one consumer stood in line for 60 hours to make sure he would buy the first unit.
Apple only sells the Wi-Fi units in China. If and when the 3G version will land is unknown at this time. In South America, the iPad is now available in Argentina, Chili, Colombia, Ecuador and Peru.
