Shazam, Seesmic and Other Apps go Live on Windows Marketplace

October 21st, 2010 by Arjan Olsder Posted in Platforms: Windows Phone | No Comments »

Over the night, a few interesting apps have launched on Windows Marketplace that will allow Microsoft to target Windows Phone 7 directly at the competition.

Microsoft itself launched a Facebook client that is nearly perfect (we have been playing with it already) and Xbox Live Extras that finally allows us to modify our Avatar on the go.

Shazam also launched on Windows Phone 7. Just like the iOS version, Shazam is free on the platform as it will earn from music sales.

For those that like to check-in everywhere, FourSquare and Seesmic have gone live as well. Consumers can choose which one they fave.
