Microsoft is to allow multitasking on Windows Phone 7 devices. Until now, multitasking was exclusive to Microsoft’s own apps, or apps that received permission from the consumer.
Now, Mirosoft set specific rules for multitasking. Apps that play audio in the background, should manage to stay alive for six hours on a single battery charge. Other apps would have to be able to stay alive for 120 hours on a single charge.
“This is an example of us continuing to listen to customers,” Microsoft’s Charlie Kindel said in an interview at Microsoft’s Professional Developer Conference here. “We think it is a much better experience.”
Congratulations
