Apple Launches App Store Twitter Account

Apple launched a new Twitter account for consumers that like to receive the latest news about sweet deals and promotions for their iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad.

The account is called @appstore and (thankfully) doesn’t just list new releases. Apple did the same thing before for other content services in iTunes.
