Motorola to Develop Android on DECT Phones

April 9th, 2012 by Arjan Olsder Posted in Smartphones & Tablets | No Comments »

We have seen many Motorola DECT phones on the market. Most of them have been made under license of Motorola resulting in poor build quality. According to the latest FCC filings, this is about to change.

Motorola has started to develop its own DECT 6.0 phones and is building them on top of Android. The first models will be the HS1101 and MBP2000PU. As you can understand, they lack 3G and probably the love to spend a lot of time with them.
