Android and Chrome OS Will Merge

Google Google founder Sergey Brin has announced that Android and Chrome OS will be merged at some point. Then and which name the OS’ will receive is unknown for now.


The OS’ already have a lot in common. Both are based on Linux and use Webkit to display web based content. While Android is positioned toward mobile phones, Chrome OS is positioned toward netbooks.
