HP’s Android Tablet is Not Open to Development

September 29th, 2010 by Arjan Olsder Posted in Platforms: AndroidOS | No Comments »

After we wrote about HP’s 7” Android tablet, several developers have sent us e-mails asking about what possibilities the device would provide them with and who to contact for it.

As it turns out, the tablet is running Android 2.1 and HP will soon be offering an upgrade to Android 2.2. HP will not allow third party apps to be installed on it, so consumers are stuck to the apps they receive/buy from HP itself.
