There’s no doubt about the popularity of Instagram on iOS and the lack of the app on Android gave lots of other developers full freedom to take the market. Now, it seems like Instagram for Android is nearly ready.
To inform the public of the imminent launch, the team behind Instagram has setup a special page where consumers will get a notification to download the app as soon as it is ready. No word on how popular the page is, but websites world-wide are writing about it so we are expecting a tsunami of new users for the app. The iOS version already has 27 million registered users.
Congratulations
