By the end of this year, Microsoft and Intel have planned to have 32 Windows 8 based tablets in the market. The tablets come from HP, Dell, Lenovo, Acer, Asus and Toshiba.
Intel and Microsoft hope this offense will help lower Apple’s market share. Apple currently owns 70% of the market. With the releases of Windows 8 tablets, the companies hope to push Apple’s market share back to 50% according to Digitimes.
