Apple Runs Into App Patent Troubles!?

Engadget reports that Apple is seemingly using screenshots from third party apps to file patents. The best example is the “where to?” app that was one-on-one copied into a patent request from the Cupertino based company.

Jailbreaking and Rootling Legalized in the US

The US government has approved new copyright rules (DMCA) that allow consumers to jailbreak or root their devices. Unlocks and installing custom roms is also allowed by law.
