After being battled about the ‘Windows’ trademark being too generic, Microsoft is now chasing up Apple for the same thing. Microsoft believes the term ‘App Store’ is too generic.
Microsoft has officially filed a motion with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office for Apple to be refused the right to exclusively use the name App Store.
