1% Rejection rate at Android Market

Google opened up on the Android Market approval process. From the 6000 applications that have been submitted, the company has only removed 60 of them because they where not suited for the public.

Acer Plans App Store

HTC Working on Cheaper Smartphones

HTC is rumoured to be signing up new component suppliers in order to bring down the costs of developing smartphones. By introducing cheaper hardware, HTC might boost the Android uptake.

Cuttlefish, Another Engine Coming Along

This morning we received a tip about something called 'The Cuttlefish Engine'. Cute as it sounds, it is actually a full engine that allows developers to instantly release their games on iPhone, BlackBerry and Android.

LG’s App Store and Android Plans

Android Coming to Ubunto

Paid Android Apps Live in The Netherlands

Strategy Analytics: Android Grows 900% in 2009

Strategy Analytics reported that they expect Android shipments to be increased by a massive 900% over the year. Not that hard since the OS is only available at a handful of handsets at the moment.
